Banking Information Technology, or Banit, a \u010cSOB\u2019s subsidiary for payment card management, communicated with its service providers inefficiently \u2013 by emails and without a unified database. Now, thanks to the Adbnet.cz internet application, all data are stored in a single location and the communication between the mother company and its subsidiary has gained in speed, system and efficiency. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n To manage and operate their payment terminals, Banit and its mother company \u2013 \u010cSOB \u2013 used a number of disparate databases. Communication with service providers, i.e. external companies providing installation and maintenance of the terminals was performed by emails without being backed up by a unified database. Sub-databases were not mutually synchronized and certain data had to be entered and re-entered from multiple sites. Sometimes, this had an adverse impact both on the quality of data and efficiency when working with them. Direct communication between the databases of the mother \u010cSOB and the system supporting remote management of the terminals was missing.<\/p>\n The implementation of the Adbnet.cz internet application proved to be a solution for the payment terminal management and for setting up the sought direct communication. The application ensured the complete operational agenda of the terminals. All communication among employees of the mother company, Banit and the service providers is concentrated in this application now. All data related to these issues are clearly and efficiently organized in a single data warehouse. Each piece of information is entered only once and, generally, the data show higher quality. The Adbnet.cz online application is directly connected with the system for payment terminal remote management and any instruction issued by the bank is shown very soon in the terminal configuration.
